Spindrift: The Road Trip “Mocktail”
When you’re wrangling five kids across state lines in a van packed with history books, snacks, and water bottles…sometimes you find yourself wishing for something…stronger. But since “roadside margaritas” are generally frowned upon, we’ve found the next best thing: Spindrift. It’s like a fancy, no-proof cocktail that’s entirely legal for driving—refreshing enough to keep us going, mellow enough to pretend we’re cool, calm, and collected (even when chaos reigns in the backseat).
Take Strawberry Peach. It’s the “mellowed-out mimosa” of Spindrifts—light, fruity, and 100% street-legal. I pop open a can and take a sip, pretending it’s a rooftop brunch as the kids discuss whether the Founding Fathers would’ve appreciated Merge Dragons.
